The Young Playwrights Festival takes place each spring at the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center. If your play is selected for the Festival, you will work with a creative team composed of a director, dramaturg, designer, and actors to develop and stage your script.

The Commercial Theater Institute, now nearing its third decade, is a project of the Theatre Development Fund (TDF) and The Broadway League. Dedicated to training the next generation of commercial theater producers, CTI provides resources and guidance to individuals interested exploring the various paths toward creating commercial productions for the stage.

Over a four-day residency directors, literary managers, dramaturgs, and theater administrators will observe and partake in the process of the O’Neill’s National Playwrights Conference.

This annual two to four-week residency held at the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center's Waterford campus expands and broadens the work of the National Puppetry Conference.  Room, board, expenses, space, and dramaturgical support provided.
