O’NEILL CENTER & MONTE CRISTO COTTAGE CELEBRATE CT OPEN HOUSE DAY

JUNE 13

Marking its 50th Anniversary in 2014, the O’Neill broke ground to expand its campus. On May 1, it celebrated the completion of a new theatrical village, home to the National Theater Institute and an artistic retreat for playwrights, composers, and puppeteers year round. The largest expansion in the O’Neill’s history, the project includes seven new dormitory cottages providing living space for 65 artists and faculty members, a laundry facility, and a new rehearsal hall complete with composition and dance studios.

In addition to the O’Neill Waterford Campus and Monte Cristo Cottage to be open for tours, guests will also walk away with a ticket to a 2015 Season National Playwrights Conference or National Music Theater Conference performance.
